To begin, players must expand their village by purchasing new buildings, recruiting new villagers, and making necessary upgrades. Emeralds are the currency used in this mod, so players can sell items to acquire more emeralds. However, it is important to be mindful of overselling, as many items are essential for jobs and survival within the village. While the villagers will autonomously perform various tasks, it is crucial to keep them happy to ensure the smooth functioning of the village. To start using TekTopia, players need to construct a Town Hall, which serves as the central hub of the village. There are two options for obtaining the Town Hall structure marker: locating a naturally generated village or crafting your own marker. Unmodified villagers can no longer spawn in naturally generated villages, instead, TekTopia villagers will inhabit these villages. Valid structure identifiers can be found near the doors of the houses. If starting from scratch, players can use a specific crafting recipe to create their own Town Hall structure marker. To build a legitimate structure, a wooden door with an item frame mounted above or adjacent to its top is required. The structure marker purchased from the Architect must be placed within the Town Hall's item frame. The interior of the building should have a flat floor that extends to the base of the door and is covered by a roof. TekTopia transforms Minecraft into a tycoon-like game, allowing players to become the ultimate mayor of their virtual village. This mod is best suited for players who are familiar with the game mechanics and crafting system. However, it is important to note that TekTopia is only compatible with Minecraft version 1.12.2 and cannot be used with any other releases of the game.
